My weakness were lack of eye contact, and need of more persuasive and firm voice. I thought I did well on controlling my voice level. But according to Jin he said I sounded too girly. I must record my voice and practice it before I actually carry out my speech. And I must figure out how I could alter my voice in persuasive and firm way. Since I was really nervous during the speech day all I could remember from my speech is looking at my paper. I did not really have much eye contact with the audience if my memory is correct. I should have practiced it more than I had.
My strengths were hand gestures, and making emphasis on certain parts of the speech. I actually practiced some hand gestures I had planned to use during my speech. I have succeeded in carrying out my plan and I effectively used to make the audience focus. And also I put emphasis on some parts of my speech such as the question "You probably wake up in the morning after having an all-nighter and stand in front of your closet wondering what to wear. Would you rather sleep for 10 more minutes or spend that precious 10 minutes on choosing what to wear? " Even though I stumbled in some parts in my speech I think I did better than I thought.
